Silicone Grease is a silicone translucent, hydrophobic, dielectric compound that provide superior water repellency and protection from corrosion. The important function of dielectric grease is to work as sealant, lubricate, waterproof, and insulate both outdoor and indoor electric connections with a layer of non-thicky dielectric paste. Silicone grease is good for sealing and lubricating rubber and plastic parts. Silicone dielectric grease are mostly used in outdoor lighting, high voltage poles, switching mechanisms, disconnects, scoreboards, traffic lights, plastic insulators, and O-rings. Silicone-based grease are recommended in marine environments and severe weather conditions.

• Its consistency depends on the amount and type of thickener used along with the viscosity of its base oil.
• Grease Dropping point is an indicator of the heat resistance. Grease temperature increases, penetration increases till the grease melt and the desired consistency is lost. The temperature at which a grease becomes liquid to drip is known as dropping point
• Silicone Grease has a property of Oxidation stability which means reaction of grease with oxygen produce insoluble gum, which increased wear and tear of machinery
